The plot revolves around a woman named Maria, who becomes a governess for a strict naval captain and his family. With the infectious energy of music, Maria starts to lighten up and brighten up things around the house. This movie is packed with joy, laughter, and songs- just a few of our “favorite things”!

  Mary Poppins

Starring Julie Andrews, as Mary Poppins, this musical film features a posh upper-class family getting their world shaken up by an eccentric and lively nanny. Ms. Poppins teaches the family the joys of life, including how to have fun. Watching this movie with your little one is sure to be nothing but a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time!

Annie

This movie joins the list of classics that anyone at any age can enjoy! Annie tries to escape her orphanage, run by the treacherous Ms. Hannigan, in efforts to find her real parents. This movie is a great break from the struggles of the day to day “hard knock life”.

 The Wizard of Oz

Take a trip down the yellow brick road with this timeless movie. Follow Dorothy as she tries to find the Wizard in hopes of finding her back home. Along the way she meets great friends and sings great songs!

Newsies

This film shows the importance of standing up for what you believe in- a lesson we all learn in life at one point or another! A band of newspaper boys come together when their bosses try to take advantage of their labor. Read- I mean watch- all about it!
