Dan is a trombonist and educator living in Manhattan. He’s been playing the trombone since the age of 13 and studied jazz at William Paterson University. Since moving to New York, he’s played everything from salsa, jazz, video game music, opera, Punjabi wedding music, hip-hop and many many more, performing with artists like Norah Jones and Orrin Evans. He tours the U.S. and Europe with the band Karikatura, which was accepted to the ’17-18 season of American Music Abroad (sponsored by the U.S. State Department) to conduct workshops and act as musical ambassadors to Haiti, Panama, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Chile. He teaches brass to students of all levels in New York and enjoys playing guitar, piano and singing in his career and free time.
